Does Sterling Identity provide apostille services?

The short answer is, no. No FBI Channeler can assist customers with the apostille process. That is because the apostille process is completed by specific apostille agencies in each state - usually the U.S. Department of State.

The Hague Convention set up rules for apostille (The French word for certification, by the way) that require two separate agencies to be involved: one to provide the FBI background check, and another to certify that the check provided is authentic. The apostille agency will review the provided FBI background check, ensure it isn’t falsified, and provide a certificate that proves its authenticity.
