Incomplete Roll
If the roll isn’t detected to be full (or in some cases, matching), this error will be shown:
The following steps will help avoid this issue:

Lay the finger flat in the center of the scanner making contact with the silver bezel

Gently roll the finger from one side to the other without losing contact with the silver bezel

Ensure the finger ends the roll on one edge of the finger

Lift the finger straight up off of the scanner and silver bezel
If you are struggling to perform the movement required to capture a roll print, use an alternative roll method:

Lay the side of the finger close to the center of the scanner

Gently roll from one side to the other without losing contact with the silver bezel

Ensure the finger ends the roll on one edge of the finger

Lift the finger straight up off the scanner and silver bezel
Severely Damaged / Missing Fingers

Return the flat fingerprint portion (this cannot be done during the roll portion of the session) and mark the fingers accordingly on the kiosk

Finger Worn and Tip Amputated still require the finger to be present - all other exclusions require the finger to be omitted
